How it all started

I have always felt a deep connection to nature and around 7 years ago I began to pay attention to my health too. This led me down a rabbit hole of natural products, herbs and alternative healing.

I cut chemicals out of my life- replacing all my cleaning products, lots of my clothing, food and finally cosmetics.

After shopping around and weeks of research I delved into the realm of creating my own products; complete trace-ability and the enjoyment of connecting with the raw products... I was hooked!

It didn’t take long for herbs to also find their way into my heart; the sheer volume of herbal allies readily available to everyone is astounding. Herbs and plants that we usually see as weeds growing abundantly in the hedgerows can be used to support a strong and healthy body. I began researching all I could about these herbal allies and my connection to the earth deepened. Soon enough I began to learn how to make herbal preparations and offerings, working what what is available throughout the seasons.

Finally with encouragement from family and friends, I decided to expand and offer these natural products to everyone...

And so Equinox Artisan was born.
